Cow moose from 127 Mica I got this year seemed to taste pretty good? Are they easily noticed?

Bull moose taken this October in unit 111 had them.  We processed the meat ourselves and found several of them.  They were also in the liver.  We didn't give our dogs any of the bones or meat scraps.  This poor moose was also loaded with ticks and the meat is tougher than an old boot (not that I've eaten many old boots).

bull moose harvested from 113, all meat processed not one worm in it. 41" bull and the meat was as tender as stilleto high heels.

22 years 3 months and 4 days, happily retired from the U.S Army.

Any of you guys that eat bear could expect the same thing in many cases, thats why I don't touch it.  I gave my meat away, and I won't shoot one now unless its a good trophy.  Let two walk this year for that reason.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
