« on: December 06, 2011, 09:59:55 PM »
I have had a couple banner days this week. Cali and I have thumped pheasants every trip. I am horrible at field pics, but I did capture my 1908 vintage 16ga. and a couple rooties.

Thanks for sharing; I love the 16ga. (I own three of them) and in particular vintage SXS's. Glad to see your pheasant success, as well. My own Palouse success is "spotty", at best.

Good to see someone getting it done in the late season!  I own four shotguns, two Lefever 12 sxs's and two hammer 16's, and the newest was made in 1906.  16ga is the ultimate upland gauge in my opinion.

Fethrduster: thats a serious hammergun, very nice!

I've got a 115 year old winchester pump 12 ga I'd sell you for a good price.  I can't vouch for the barrell as I've never fired it.  Just throwing that out there in case.  not trying to highjack the thread.

It's a Belgian guild gun....hand built with not a mark on it other than proof marks. I shoot 100-200 shells through it every year.
