Hope you get a cat but would like to see a wolf picture.
Mine always have to be broke off moose, they must smell really good!!
I was lucky enough to draw a hound permit in Idaho for 2012 and will be running my hounds for lions there this winter! I'm pretty excited to get out this year becuase I've got a couple new pups and two 4 yr old dogs that are doing well. I'll have a wolf tag in my pocket and if, at any time, I cut fresh wolf tracks I'll be changing tactics and going after them.

I wanna go. I've got an Idaho wolf tag, only good till 12/31/2011. I'd love to kill a wolf. Also, I'm very good at keeping you entertained. What about costs, lodging, tips etc ? I could take pictures too. I've got a nice Nikon D 60, a Sony HD movie camera and even a gun. Oh, I've got a real nice ATV...............
nah- I had a pursuit tag in WA a couple years ago. We got a bunch of good pics but never killed one. It was a wonderful way to train a hound...sadly they have eliminated that option for hound hunters too...
My butcher's friend lost his hounds to a wolf pack in idaho a couple of years ago. He tried to get there in time, but the wolf pack killed his dogs. :'(They where trained not to fight each other so they didnt fight back. They were good dogs. So Bill gave his friend the two dogs he had, because he didn't hound hunt anymore. Bill's dog are good Cat and Bear dogs. Well good luck and be safe out there. Shoot a wolf and Cat and post the pic's
