Upper Smith Creek/Mt. Whittier Tags

Just curious if anybody on here drew one of these tags. Specifically an archery tag. If you did congrats.

Yes  my dad drew the whittier tag for the black powder.  we are going to have a great time.  I also drew the Yale tag, so we are going to have a busy fall.

Did you guys do any research on Mt Whittier before you applied? Just curious.  Let me know how it went.

Yes we know this area very well, Dad had 7 points!  He is very able hunter and is so excited about drawing the tag I can't believe it.  It should be fun and we are going to start scouting soon.  This is the same area that he hunted as a kid, and that he took me into many time's as I was growing up.( before May 18Th 1980)  I am looking forward to the hunt. I had a Margret tag about 6 years ago and we saw allot of elk and some nice bulls on that side of the hill.  I'll keep you posted.  I know the person that drew the cow tag, but has any one heard how got the rifle tag?  thanks
