HOLY COW BATMAN!!
« on: December 07, 2011, 11:05:18 PM »
Well my elk season ended better than it started. Not being able to hunt early due to separated ribs. Then missing 2 bulls in my Utah muzzleloader hunt :bash:. I was getting fed up with all of it and new I had better get it done late season. So I go to my honey hole and sure enough I have pics of elk :). I climb in my stand and wait and wait and wait....finally the tell tale crunching of the snow and I see a flash of tan through the trees . Standing up and ready to launch my missile I take a range(41 yards) draw my bow and let my Easton and montech do the rest. High double lung shot but she didn't go 100 yards. She was huge. Biggest cow I have taken and a bigger body than elkslayers 5 point :chuckle:. All in all I am tickled to have my freezer full of the best meat in the woods!! The pic is a little graphic after all this àint Hollywood. :chuckle:

If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

She may be bigger than my 5 point Buck man, but I dont think she's bigger than the cow I shot last year. :dunno:
