Elite Bows
« on: December 07, 2011, 11:47:25 PM »
Has anyone here shot (or currently shooting) a bow from Elite Archery? If so which one and what are your opinions on the product?

I have shot the Elite pure, hunter and tour... all fantastic bows.

The hunter:
Specifications
 ESX Cams
Axle to Axle
31 3/4"
Brace
7 1/2"
Draw Length
25" - 30"
Draw Weight
40, 50, 60, 70, 80 lbs
Mass Weight
3.9 lbs
Let-Off
80%+
IBO Speed
319 - 323 FPS*
Kinetic Energy
80 FPE*
Centershot
13/16"-7/8"

Dang nice bow for hunting, very forgiving and good KE.  Not sure where you are located, but Wilderness Archery in Bow, Wa has them, go up there and try them out.

For target I'd get the Tour... I really like the feel and balance.

I have been shooting the Elite E500...very similar to the Bowtech Allegiance 06' model. It shoots great. I got two of them. I like it because you can change modules to pick up more speed. I have the E500 mods on. With a 450gr arrow I am at 297 fps.

I haven't been "wowed" by anything else yet that can compete with the 7" brace and those speeds.

I think it depends on what you are after as well in the bow?
