Big West side bull...anyone recognize it?
« on: December 08, 2011, 10:39:31 AM »
I've met one of the guys in this photo a few times, it was sent to me by a friend of a friend kind of thing. I've been asking what tag/unit and score but haven't heard back.

Supposedly rifle general season somewhere by Raineer.  I'm new to elk hunting and I'm not familiar enough to be able narrow down where it could have been. I had no idea there were even general open season tags that allowed taking branch bulls.

Nice Bull though!!

For rifle as well huh? I have only hunted archery for elk and only for two years now, never really looked at the rifle regs but just assumed they would be more restrictive.

I know, I can't stop staring at it. Both guys tagged out, sounded like a great hunt.

Yep for rifle too. Just a different management strategy than east side. No need to memorize all rules/regulations either.

That is definitely a toad freaking bull too!
