What unit #? Did you draw a tag?

I went down there and hunted unit 30 back in 2001. I would love to go back down there and hunt them again. Fairly inexpensive hunt and lots of coyotes. I think I'd like to go to a different area than 30 as there weren’t that many pigs. Any ideas?

What? Why actually put in for a tag? There are tons of OTC leftover tags always available. If you're an archer, you can get an OTC tag for deer for both the rest of this month and a new one in January when the rut picks up down here.

I saw 'em all over the place in 33 and also in 36 when I got my coues deer this year.  When I don't have a tag in my pocket, they're usually happy enough to train in front of me, about five yards away, stop broadside for about 30 seconds, and then slowly move on  :bash: PM me and I'd be happy to tell you about several places.

Wow! I didn't know so many people would travel to hunt 'em. I've seen them so many places (neighborhood, back yard, etc) its not exactly like seeing a 360 bull elk. Anyway, let me know if you're coming down and I'll hook you up.

For sure man! We are hunting slu*^ :chuckle: You know that. It's kinda like antelope hunting. When you get to places like wy and you see them all over the place. Then the locals are like why would you drive all that way to hunt them :chuckle:

Bean Counter, I hunt both AZ and WA frequently. I'm currently in Tucson and just accepted a job with the State Dept. out here, so it looks like I'll be here for a while longer. Ive hunted javelina with OTC tags before, but I only ever see them when I have a deer tag in hand or while walking around town. I'll probably pick up a tag for the spring, and I'd appreciate any helpful info you could send my way that might increase my odds of success. Thanks.
