Very nice buck, congrats.  What bow is she shooting?  My wife wants a bow this year.

She is shooting a Mathews Z7 / 26 inch draw / 52#.

Well done, you have to love the snow when it comes to those type of hits. ;)

The snow helped tremendously. It was on a south facing slope and most of his movement was through open stuff with very patchy snow and it was definitely tougher in those areas.

Hopefully. Right now I have a bunch of 3 1/2 year olds on camera. They have respectable P&Y class antlers but they just need a year or two to grow. I may go out and take a look at them on the hoof to see if I am misjudging their age. If I can find a good 4 1/2 or 5 1/2 year old then he is going down. I don't care what size antlers he has.

Congrats to her!!!!  If only we could all be that lucky to have a wife that would think about hunting.

It is great! She is very passionate about hunting and for that reason we are able to spend countless hours in the field as a family.
