Eastern Washington hunting partner wanted

I am new to the area and looking for a hunting partner. I grew up on a farm in Florida, riding horses, hunting and fishing. However, the past 10 or so years my military career, college and current career have taken over. I looking for a seasoned hunting partner to help me re-learn my forgotten skills, as well as, new regional ones. I am willing to put in the preseason work necessary to be successful. I'm open to any hunting as long as it is edible (even ducks or cedar as some hunters prefer).

I was in the same boat as you I pcsd here after lifing in Florida my whole life first time seeing snow was up here. Unfortunately I'm pretty new to the types of hunting but I know the area around here at least somewhat so you.can pm me if your by spokane and we can set something up

I'd like to hunt any big game or upland bird. However, I'm open to anything that gets me out of the house. I have hunted duck before.

Thanks for the reinforcement on Cheney! It definitely felt like its more my speed but it's still a little nerve-racking trying to buy a home in an area you know little about.

I live in Spokane but head to Yakima for Elk every year, sometimes twice a year.  Usually pack in for elk, but next year will probably have horses pack me in.  That runs about 500 per person.  Deer I usually shoot closer to home.  Got a bird dog puppy for my birthday this year, so probably going to have to get more seriously into birds next year.

I get up to to Elk (near Deer park) a few time a year deer and turkey. Not sure what 2011 will bring, but I think I will at least get in some spring turkey hunting.

I spent 4 years in Daytona Beach @ ERAU. Florida is a great place to visit, but living in the NW is much better.

BS in Aircraft maintenance Technology/ Avionics. I was a crew chief in the AF (Shaw SC) before I went to College.
