Finally broke the ice with geese
« on: December 11, 2011, 06:30:56 PM »
Been trying hard this year to get some honkers and finally it paid of today.  Cant count the number of times I have called geese in this year to have another blind cut up my hard work, but today lady luck shined on me :IBCOOL:  UPWIND and I were able to smoke some as they flew over us in the opposite direction.  We opened up and they fell out of the sky, boy they sure can glide a ways :bash:  Put my dog to the test bringing these monsters back :chuckle:  I was using a Mix of Kent #2, and Federal #2's.   A great day and hunt with a good friend

I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.
