These wolves are responsible for 20+ confirmed cow deaths.   Pretty crazy that the state has 4 packs and they cant control them....Washington wants 15!  Good luck!

Every time there is an animal killed by wolves they need to truck it over and dump it on the lawns of the people involved in the wolf recovery groups.  See what they think when it is on their front lawn.

Make Washington for Wildlife the conduit it should be.   :twocents:
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

quotes from the article

"This landowner and others that have lost livestock animals to wolves are likely to be compensated for their losses. Earlier this year, the Oregon State Legislature and Governor Kitzhaber directed the Oregon Department of Agriculture to create a wolf compensation program. The program is expected to be in effect in early 2012. Ranchers that lost livestock since early September 2011 (when a compensation program funded by Defenders of Wildlife ended) will be eligible for retroactive compensation."

"Cascadia Wildlands, the Center for Biological Diversity and Oregon Wild, and other wolf supporters have stated before that it should be enough that ranchers get compensated for their loss, thus wolves should not be lethally removed just because they keep on killing livestock."

well here is an idea since "compensation for the lost livestock should be enough." since we as hunters compensate the state for our interest in hunting through the purchase of hunting licenses and tags, why should the taxpayers have to pay for the livestock compensation?

should be that the wolf activist groups should have to compensate the farmers from their group's funds since they have an interest in the wolf........ if that were the case, i'd say let the wolves eat all the cattle for a while..... make it so easy that so many cows have to be compensated for by the hippie groups that it bankrupts them.

PLUS THEY DON'T KEEP HARRASSMENT IN ACCOUNT.  I'M NOT A RANCHER OR FARMER,... BUT ANYONE WITH EVEN A TAD BIT OF COMMON SENSE WOULD GUESS THAT THE CATTLE WOULD OSE LOTS OF WEIGHT AND HEALTH FROM BEING CHASED AROUND BY WOLVES AND NOT BEING ABLE TO EAT PEACEFULLY...   AND I WOULD ALSO GUESS THE LESS WEIGHT EQUALS LESS MONEY FOR THE RANCHER/FARMER.

WHERE'S THE COMPENSATION FOR THAT?  :dunno:

I think hunters/cattlemen couldn't /can't do squat to kill the wolves and turn the tables on the anti's. The reason being is, we don't use underhanded terrorist tactics, scare tactics, threats of murdering your family, threats of violence against pro hunting/cattlemen groups or anybody who opposes them, burning down businesses etc. To me, these people are terrorist scum. Everybody is afraid of them, plus they have tons on money backing them up. Millions of dollars. How much money does HW and WFW have to fight these dangerous terrorists ? I'm guessing, none. There has to be a solution to the pollution, a reason for the season. If all the biggies in the hunting industries and the very, very rich cattlemen/slaughter houses out there pooled their money together, they might make a small dent in the anti's agenda, maybe. This country has turned into a bunch of liberal bleeding hearts for anything and everything. You get more jail time for abusing a kitty cat than abusing a spouse. Something is wrong in this world...........................terribly wrong !
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............
