Jager,
Your link didn't work; try the one I posted below.
Thank you for posting this, you beat me to it. I sent my emails immediately. I also forwarded the email from Big Game Forever to family and friends in Washington and other states; it's important to get the word out.
For some reason, the link in the forum didn't work for me; it came up with an error referencing a recipient ID was not passed.

"Please support state management of wolf populations by further Congressional action. Existing bills in Congress would allow states to protect wildlife populations from unregulated predation which is becoming a major problem for wildlife across America. Just as important, these bills prevent endless delays and allow states to do their job in protecting and preserving wildlife in America.
The unintended consequences of unregulated wolves will no longer be ignored by the millions of American sportsmen.
100 years of wildlife restoration is now being put at risk. Our national treasure Yellowstone National Park is becoming devoid of wildlife. Some of the most important elk and moose herds have seen huge declines.
We are encouraged by Congressional action to return wolves to state wildlife managers in Idaho and Montana. But state management in just two states falls far short of what is needed.
Consider the following:
(1) Wyoming, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin are still not delisted. Even when administrative delisting occurs, blocking litigation is virtually guaranteed.
(2) Federally imposed restrictions currently being imposed on Idaho and Montana means not enough wolves are being removed to restore balance to wildlife populations in the Northern Rockies.
(3) New wolf plans being pushed by federal officials in the Southern Rockies are guaranteed to spread damage to key wildlife populations. These plans place even higher densities of wolves in the states which hold 97.5% of all elk in America. These dangerous plans need to be stopped.
We need your leadership. We can no longer ignore destruction of our wildlife in our state and across America."I realize many people don't like several of our current representatives, but they are the people in office and have the power right now. If they receive these communications from thousands of people, they may support the views whether they agree with them or not. Please write your emails; it does make a difference. It will only take about a minute of your time.
