Sgt Browns a great guy ive met him a few times and my dad has met with him several times. Hes just as frustrated with the game department as we are. I hope he catches them.

That's sad because that was one of the best rams in that specific area. That little herd can't afford to lose many.

By the sounds of it, someone may have just dispatched an animal that was suffering.  In this day in age though, I think even if I dispatched a suffering animal I would keep my mouth shut as they are always looking to "hold someone accountable, and/or make an example out of them".  I highly doubt if someone came forward and said "yes, I put the animal down because it was suffering" that they would leave it be (even if it was the truth).   

Back in the day you could probably call up the warden, explain why you dispatched the animal, and he would thank you....Now they'd show up at your house with handcuffs.

That seriously suz ....what a nice one ...how can anyone just shoot something like that for the fun of it and knowing how serious it will be if your cought ...I will tell ya how serious .....Someone from here where I live poached one in Montana and thought he was getting away with it and just last week he got pulled over for a driving infraction and they told him he had a warrant in Montana for poaching a Big Horn Sheep ... So he is now in Montana for his charges  :dunno: :yike: :bdid:

No. That was just a small branch herd. Actually it was the original. One less public land ram, which aren't too abundant in that unit.
