custom reticle
« on: December 16, 2011, 12:07:26 PM »
Ok so here's the deal. I want a reticle that I can't find anywhere. Has anyone gotten custom reticles before? If so how did you get it done, who did you use, and what was the cost. I'm looking for something pretty similar to the zeiss reticle 66 except I want the very center to be completely clear. No dot or + or anything. I like the old german reticle but I think if the fat posts are skinnier and they taper to a really thin line with nothing in the middle It will make it easier for precision for me.

Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?

Sorry......just didn't want your thread to go unnoticed. I don't know a lick about custom reticles.

Have you checked with Leupold?  They will do custom work for turrets, maybe they do reticles too.
Also might check with huskemaw (spelling?).

Dick at Premier Reticles.  Not sure they are building custom anymore though.  Think they might have went to their own line of scopes.

Huskemaw doesn't build different reticles.

Thanks mtn muley. I'll check and see if they will do a special order. Maybe if I buy their scope they'll do it.

WOW! Has anyone bought one of these? They are in the alpha glass price range. I'm not that big a scope financier yet.
