Last day of Toutle archery!
« on: December 18, 2011, 09:56:35 PM »
It was the last day of the elk season for the Toutle unit "quality bull" draw December 15th and I had filled my tag in the early season and my buddy had the permit as well, went up there without scouting since general season which still was very minimal and within the first hour of day break had this down and had seen 9 other bulls, one bigger than this. My friend was very fortunate saw him through some timber at roughly 200 yrds, and snuck within 60 yrds and he looked right at us, gave him the range he drew back and drilled him through the lungs. Would like to see some other success from anyone else with the Toutle tags!! Happy holidays!!
