a man on this site who I'm extremely fortunate, and grateful to have met gave me an extremely nice Hoyt pro elite target bow and stabilizer. i still need a rest and scope/sight and arrows for it and unfortunately I'm out of work. I'm hoping to get a job i applied for but they said they couldn't hire till the end of the year. if anyone has any of these things laying around that they don't need collecting dust and would like to give it away and see it go to good use and get a young man into the target shooting world i would love to have them.

thanks Joe.

Where do you live, Joe? What is your local bow shop? Please PM me with details.

What length and spine arrows do you need. I have some easton FMJ that I could help you out with if they fit you. What kind of rest do target shooters use? Sights? I would need more info.... you live close enough to me...we could probably get you shooting quickly.

I may have some arrows but need more info ( I have a pretty short draw length (27") and they are cut to size). Let me know what your draw length is and Ill see what I can do.

its all new to me also, will be my first time with a target bow. i pretty sure they used a fixed prong style rest, as for the sight its a single pin adjustable. the arrows........? length to be determined but i may be able to use some easton st epic 400's ive got laying around.

Can't tell you what will work until we know the weight you are pulling, as well as the low/high of the bow, and then I need your draw length. Run down to the bow shop on Pacific and get them to help you determine those things so we have a starting point. I will help you  but you have to give me information...go get it and get back with me.

the pull is 50-60 and ill be at 60, and ill be at a 29 inch draw length.

any info what kinda of stuff target shooter use/need would be helpful on this adventure, since i have only had a hunting bow and dont know much about target shooting and competition but always wanted to do them.

Your arrow choice will really depend on what time off shooting you want to do.  Are you shooting inside or outside safari or 3-D.  Lots of options on arrows.   You have yourself a hell of a bow there don't skimp out and shoot some hunting arrow you kinda defeat the purpose of that bow.

why are you going to be shooting 60lbs, no need. Most of your shooters only shoot mid 50s. you dont need speed for indoor and for any out door stuff I dont shoot over 280 fps, this works well for my 3D shoots and safaris . Makes you guess the yardage for the 3Ds. if you are going to be shooting papper turnys you dont want to be pulling 60 lbs all day. If you send me your specks on the bow make modle, cams, draw weight and your draw lenghth. I canlook up what arrows would work for you. I have the Archers Advantage program.
