still debating the coast or blewit pass or RimRock area. thought of having a bear camp. showing how to call and stuff. not sure what i'm doing yet. would be cool to hunt wide open country. like the Colockum or manistash. all area's ive called for cougar's. dang what to do. Rick

I'd be in if it was someplace new, maybe not so thick.

Are the coats OK?  I guess I got to get used to here, but 1 Aug, coats are thin and not in good shape up North??  Just curious to see why you'd want one so early if they have very thin rugs?  And it isn't for the table fare in the summer....  Is it?  I love spring bear meat, but as the summer comes never had one that taste good?  Curious - so don't release the rant and rave hounds on me.....

Thin or prime they usually end up in pieces and tossed to the yotes. Even the ones I get out whole. It is all about the meat. I have eaten spring and fall bears and they taste the same.
