Please elaborate Polar Bear....  Did you know there is three things you need to be a true Alaskan?  That is the third.....  First two are easy, peeing in the Yukon and killing a griz, it was the thrid that never got me to "True" resident status.........

The ones I ate (Black Bears) there were awful in the fall, so pretty good here, hmmm, I have to give some a try, thanks for the info makes it easier to understand now...  Even AK Fish and Game doesn't require the harvest of meat in the fall for the very reason I asked...

I am ready to go as of today. Gear has all been gone thru, taking my .270 this year, shooting good. Vehicle has been gone thru and is ready to go. Bags are packed. Maps. Everything. All I need is a block of ice, some apples, and it's go time.

I will be looking for the bruiser that made this mess;

Yes cohoho Bear skins are legal to sell.  With certain stipulations!  It has to be the whole skin with paws and claws attached.  If you want to sell the skull it has to be in the skin!

You can tell that the picture is not of mine, since there is no corn showing.
