If anyone is going to kill a big one it will be Smokey ;) Trust me on this one ;)

So should I be offended or is this just a challenge ;) I dont know Smokey but I'm betting that I can hold out for a bigger bull than he can :lol4:

july is a hard time to scout for moose rthey are in the timber more this time of year to keep out of the heat. and there is a lot more brush. end of aug. start of sept. is the best time to start.

Very cool Bucklucky, but you obviously have not been keeping up on the entire thread. I too am using archery gear for this hunt, unless a monster should not cooperate then its drop the hammer.

It might be hard, I've never been one to pass on nice deer for a bigger ones, so moose well be harder. I hope a month off of work to hunt moose well keep me from pulling the trigger on the first decent bull I see. I'm a bow hunter, hunted with a bow for 20 years. When I moved over here I only have time to hunt with the kids, as far as time off of work. So I picked up the riffle again. I always thought if I get drawn for moose I'll kill one with my bow. pendoreilleadventures talked me into taking it and giving it a try. I'll have my gun also in case it's a bull of a lift time who I can't kill with my bow. When I worked in Chewelah a delivery driver told me of a bull he shot with a bow, wounded it, finished it with a gun. He could have finished with his bow but he shot it with a gun. After it was down he found out at that time it would have been the Washington St. record for bow. He carried a picture of it in hes wallet. Nice bull.
