Where to go in Idaho?

A couple of buddies and I are thinking on doing a wolf hunt over in Idaho. Anyone know of some good areas? What is the best month? Advice?
We are avid elk hunters but have no clue about wolf hunting, but it sounds like fun!

lewiston area would be my reccomendation.  my dad lives up there and says they are thick with wolves.

How many departments are represented on here? City of Arlington for me. What is the wolf population doing around the Dwarshack reservoir? Hunted there about 12-14 years ago and saw some cat tracks but no wolf tracks

Pastor from my church just was over there a few weeks ago deer hunting.  He said there were tracks everywhere and you would hear them howling all night long, but he couldn't get a shot at one.  If you are going after wolves specifically, that wouldn probably be as good a place as any..

Next week we will have snow. Find any winter range and you will find wolves.

150 pounds? You must just be lookin' at yote pups! Oh wait....my brother lives in Texas, not me! 

Ill check a map for that Dwarshak Res, not sure where that is. Heard Twin Springs was good too?

You have sleds? If so avery is pretty good. Dwarshak sits right a orifino.....east of lewiston. Anything around pierce and hq has lots of wolves. I would focus on avery or elk river myself.

I hunted whitetail near Pierce this year and heard wolves and saw tracks but never saw a wolf. So I'm thinking about buying a spring bear tag and doing some calling for wolves and bear this spring.

Amazingly I never saw a wolf track in my 12 days of hunting in Pierce this year but I was blown away by the coyote tracks. The things are like fleas over there. They got to be puttin a hurtin on the deer. Wounded one. I think they might be getting overlooked and are starting to do some real damage.
