One of the hardest hit areas.  Wolfs have done some major damage in that area.  The whole Clearwater drainage has more than its share of wolfs.  Any those units you are as likely to run into them as any place in Idaho.
"Shoot the spike".  It's much easier to pack out!

You should go hunt in either units 8 or 8A and be sure to check the regs because some units have quotas and you have to check them daily to make sure the unit is still open.  I have hunted Idaho for 12 years in a row and seen wolves in those units almost every year.  I posted on this site my deer hunt this year and you will have to take a look at it and see how well the wolves are doing over there.

Selway is loaded with wolves I would hunt of highway12 from Lowell to Lolo pass there is lots of trails off the highway
