May have seen those same three....

The tribe did not bring them in,Central wash. SCI did.
The tribe was at a minimum very instrumental in them getting here.

The Yakima Nations helped SCI cut threw the red tape.

The tribe is doing almost all of the ground work, with financing coming from SCI. With alittle luck looks like there will be more coming in the first week of Feburary. Once again it appears that Nevada will be contributing the antelope. Without their assistance it would not be happening

I saw about 150 yesterday.  I was just outside of Long Creek, OR.  I had to slam on my brakes for the last four of them.

Have any of them been proven to carry serious communicable diseases?  :dunno:

I am seeing anecdotal evidence of some from Oregon as well.  I'm not sure if they have swam the river or how that works, but have run into some near Goldendale that didn't appear to be plants.   :dunno:   Either way I think its very cool to have them within our borders.   I wish the tribe would open up coyote hunting to whites or take a more assertive approach at culling them.   I saw 5 down by the refuge the other day, in the middle of the day.   Maybe you can get a permit to hunt them like birds, I'm not in the know on that.

The tribe does allow coyote hunting for non-natives. I'm not sure of the proccess or the cost? Raul Duke has a permit to hunt the rez.

I have not seen any lopes around Bickleton since last summer.

Thats too bad.    The tribe will be wasting alot of time and effort on these lopes if they don't practice some predator control.

I really dont think you need to worry about the yotes on the rez. Lots of guns and people who like to shoot them...
At least in my neighborhood.......    :hunter: :hunter:

What yote problem? :dunno:  I wasn't aware of a yote problem when I was sighting in my rifles in the south boundary area (S. 97). :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

tribe has done its work on predator control, they knew it was going to be an issue before the release. The big problem is really the wild horses. They are the ones competing the most.  If you want antelope off the rez then possibly the wild horses are our best friend, believe me they have shown us that they are going to look for greener pastures.
