what is the twist on the barrel? i went to thier website but they dont say.

Yes there is.  You can shoot sabot's in them.  I think it is 1/26th twist not sure though.

The twist is 1:28" on the elkhorn and a lot of the other newer guns

Nice!  I just picked myself up an Elkhorn right before xmas as well.  I haven't gotten out to shoot it yet, but i'm looking forward to it.  This is my first muzzleloader so i'm excited for the new adventure.
