That pond had so much algae and weeds in it that I could not fish it when I walked over there with the kids.

If you are talking at the campground, if you walked thru that giant culvert, there was a pond that you could catch trout and stuff in.  If I remember right there was a lot of swans trying to nest there,  :chuckle:
and a troll taking tolls
Oh if she's gonna be there, no way........I didn't get my moneys worth last time,  damn trolls

Course you had to watch for snakes too...  :yike: :bdid:

and if you go through past dusk, you have bats to deal with...don't care for bats too much :chuckle:

hey everybody , better late than never. it sounds like a lot of people are really getting into this cat fishing thing . i could really use some ideas as to what you would like to see for tournament prizes this year . have some thoughts ,but more will help . hey grundy , don't forget to bring the *censored* award , so someone can have a chance at the top ? also have your bow seat reserved .

Still have the traveling trophy on display  :chuckle: ;). I will definetly be bringing it, but lets not kid ourselves I'll probabbly be a back to back champ and win it again. You know the best fishing spot is off your bow. I can't wait.

:yike: rosie has offspring?

Just spit Pepsi all over my computer screen.  It had me at "I'm a snake" and then I read the Rosie offspring comment.  Good one Rasbo....lol :chuckle:

I have a hard time understanding why members of the human race, or then again maybe not members, put themselves out there for everyone to see like that on Youtube.  Unbelievable :o

Kenzmad.....Do you actually spend time looking for this stuff on Youtube?  I'm still laughing here 20 minutes later.  That has to be the dumbest thing I've seen in a long, long, time.  Thanks for the laugh. :chuckle:

It reverted back to Army Corps of Engineers.  No longer a State Park.

So does that mean you can fish from the shore there?

Yes you can bank fish.  Rec area on the North side of the river should be open.  No campground but day use will be open.
