Sounds good to us. We were thinking of bringing some pvc pipe with reflective tape to try and mark the shallow channel it;s pretty narrow. There is a sand beach up there that we have seen the guides fish from that would be a good bonfire or spot to fish from the bank. We have never fished up there at night but some pontoon boats from the marina with lanterns go up but don;t know how good they do.
I say we take the beach :chuckle:

should be interesting to see where gas prices go this summer. "They" are talking about $6.00 a gallon for diesel and $5.00 for unleaded. if it comes to that, we won't be going catfishing. I can't see spending that kind of coin on a fish that I don't really like to eat. I would rather do my Neah Bay trip twice. We will just have to wait and see.

5.00 a gallon...

hmmmmmmmmmm 16 mpg.

640 miles rounds trip......

40 gallons of gas

200.00 in fuel for me... not sure I can swing that much myself..

I was just considering the drive there and back...

I would be handing someone money for boat gas, when I was able to catch a ride.

But then you have campground fees, and food....   if it gets that bad, I may just have to say not this year....
