They're sure not moving now at all, like they were a couple months ago, in my area. I'm getting pics of mostly just two spikes, who keep coming and eating all the apples I put out. Earlier I had no less than seven bucks visiting my one site. I've been moving cameras around now and trying to get closer to their core area. The one camera I did get one of the medium sized two points, along with the same two spikes. Yesterday I took another camera out and found another spot for it. Got apples in front of both cameras. Hoping to catch the big two and/or the big three point that are out there. I'm just hoping they made it through the late muzzleloader season. They also could have been poached fairly easily since I believe these deer visit apple trees in people's back yards at night.

Well I'm having eggs and tag soup this morning... Doesn't taste so well!  2nd time in my life, since 83, that I haven't tagged a deer.... Feels just wrong.....  Oh well, turkey is coming up soon, and steelhead are in full swing...  And some yotes need a killin'.  I can't say I didn't have opportunities yesterday, I did see 25 deer, though most were too far off.  I did have my chances but they were much jumpier than expected and I never did get a shot.  All 25 were antlerless, which makes me wonder if they dropped their antlers yet???

Nice meeting you Billythekid rock wed night.  Your spot is safe with me  ;)

Happy New Years everyone!  My NY's resolution, to shoot my hunting rifle comfortably at 600 yds, and my bow out to 100 yds!  Pipe dreams, but I will try to attain it... hahahaha!
