I would drive to Selah and use Peyser Taxidermy.  I have no ties with them at all other than they live a rocks throw from me.  I have seen alot of his work and know he has a great reputation, and his prices are fairly standard.  I personally have never used him or any other taxidermist as I do my own, but I have met him at the Sportsmans show and he seems like a pretty straight up guy.  We are about 30 minutes out of E-burg via freeway or the cut-off road down the Wenas.

OR

Michelle has moved into Washington (Olympia)and as far as I can tell from her pics, and conversations or e-mails with her, she seems to do a great job.  You cna see much of her stuff posted on here, and I know her prices are very reasonable as she strived to be very competetive.

Todd Peyser in Selah does the best work I have seen. Here is a pic of a large cougar tom he mounted.

That cat looks great. Makes me think about driving there from Olympia if I ever get a cat.

that is an exceptional cat, and if any of you have seen many that have been taxidermied, I think its the hardest animal to get realistic.

Sorry the last pictures were a little small. I am still get the hang of posting pictures. Here is a close up of the face. I really like the detail he puts into the neck. The fat rolls and wrinkles. Gotta have the lump in the throat too, don't see that kind of detail with all taxis.

I'd love to tell you that I shot it but it would be a lie. Long story short. The person who owened it before me was not going to have it mounted. I worked out a deal with him. It is from washington though.

The post was to show the amazing work Todd Peyser creates. He is an artist with animals.
