Got our second RCX 2. One is out of state from last septemer till late spring 2012 when we make trip to check it. From useing it 3 months seems all is good. The second one i inserted batteries and it would not register on handheld computer. Dinked with it and found the two contact points inside where the battery cartridge makes contact WERNT! Reached in with needlenose pliers and carefully pulled them out a little. All good for now. Could see this happening again with time.

yikes..I cannot put that much trust in any trail cam..I put a Bushnell trophy cam up this past summer for 50 days..it puked on day 2 with 6 pics!!  :bash: it ruined the scouting in that spot by not checking it sooner..to late to decide to hunt that area for elk

RCX2 camera update. Checked camera and found 3324 pics. Batteries still 100%. Lithium used. Got good pics but a branch got most of the attention. Cameras last pic was 10/24/11 and started again 4/12 of a bear. Not sure of huge delay. Camera seemed to have intermitant issues and issue with hand reader not communicating with camera returned. Adjusted connection points with pliers for a second time to make hand held read camera. Sending both cameras back to leopold for diagnosis from them. Runnin the M80's now and love em!
