Winter Shooting Anyone?
« on: December 27, 2011, 09:31:09 PM »
First off, is anyone shooting? I have been at least once a week untill 3 weeks ago when the winter league started at Skookum Archery Club, now I'm shooting about twice a week. Fun league. Indoors at Great Northwest Archery. I've been trying to shoot some on the walk thru courses but the weather hasn't cooporated much lately. Shootin at home too when the weather lets me.
There's a 3-D shoot coming up at Skookum in a week or two. Anyone shootin in it?

Shooting indoors right now in leagues.  Whidbey Bowmen has there 1st 3D Jan 28/29th.  Skookum's dirty thirty I think is the first weekend (7/8 Jan).  State Indoor is the 14/15th... Lots of shoots... go to http://washingtonarchery.org/forum/calendar_month_1_year_2012&V=1&DB=0&submit=Go.html

i normally shoot 3 days a week but with hunting(not tagged out  :'( ), and the weather, most ive done is a few arrows here and there to make sure my hunting bow is still shooting right. im hoping to get this new target bow dialed in and if i get some work ill be trying to do shoots when ever i can afford it. ill just be shooting off the covered porch till then!
they call me the bloodhound cause i can track a wounded animal in the rain for 2 days when all it has is a splinter.. sniff sniff awooo

Dirty Thirty. You're right. I'd forgotten the name and date. Shot the A and B course walk thru today between rains. Felt good to finally shoot outdoors.
