Winter Grouse
« on: December 28, 2011, 01:38:16 PM »
I am looking to go up and see if i can get some late Grouse hunting in. I am trying to find a spot near green water off of 410 but not sure what is still open, whats been closed.

This would be a first for me. Any tips or suggestions?

I plan on backpacking in and doing some cold weather camping too, so if I have to hike some its no big deal.

Thanks

Wow, you really like grouse.

Sorry not familiar with the area, but I have hunted grouse in the winter.. Hit and miss, but have come across large grouping of birds.

I prefer water fowling in the cold months.
