cheater  >:(

careful there we dont need you blowing your top :chuckle:

does it make you feel better that in 42 years I have found one dinky ass spike deer shed.... my son walking on the beach found deer teeth  :yike: I did happen upon an entire beaver skeleton completely bleached and only missing a few foot bones...I was with another gal and she took most of it...including the skull.....otherwise mostly i find gross carcasses and bird feathers :dunno:

Looks like the story went away with the meltdown.

Just started hitting it hard last year... found 13 deer and one moose paddle my first year. i put serious miles in and felt like i wasnt getting much of a pay out. rough ratio was every 5-6 times out for one horn. others were posting totals of finding 15 in a weekend. it'll will happen for you too, just gotta put the miles in

Hey Pathfinder101, have you heard from Greg if shed camp is on this year? I think I might actually get the time off!
He'll have it, only question is when.  I was over there the other night visiting and we tlked about it, but didn't set a date.  The weather is so iffy that time of year... :dunno:  A few years ago they actually got flooded off the mountain.. :(
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Remeber it only takes one good shed hunting trip to go from the "worst shed hunter" to the best... Once you get the "EYE" you will find more and more...

I have never been a great shed hunter..the biggest change when in the hills is to keep my eyes to the ground...so use to that hunting mode..I barely look at the ground always looking for game and still find myself doing that when shed hunting. Also go to areas where game winter...I shed hunt places I dont even hunt
