A little experiment...
« on: December 29, 2011, 09:26:00 AM »
Shot a doe on the last day of late archery. Had a slow season compared to normal and didn't get many pics on my camera. I thought some thing has to do be messing with the deer in my area. So, I decided to put my camera up on the gut pile of my doe.
This is what my findings were. Look at the dates, times and It tells all.

Now post some pics of that kitty sleeping in your arms!   :chuckle:

I wasn't seeing anything at all at my late muzzy B tag stand, which is odd for the area I am in.  Went up last week one afternoon when we had that dusting of fresh snow late morning and there were cat tracks all over my setup.  I only sat for an hour or so and bagged it, and when I got back to my truck there were fresh kitty tracks walking right past my truck and into the trees on the other side of the road

That is a beautiful cat and a great idea. My buddy went back to the same ridge i shot my buck on last year the following morning and found every imaginable track and no signs of the deer legs or gut pile, needless to say I have wanted to try this technique out ever since.... awesome way to go!
