I watched it happen, the guy was about to qualify with an old M16A1, he qualified with the same rifle a week later. All of our rifles were pretty beat, you get enough slop in the upper from running that charging handle and the back of the gas key will catch it if you don't have it locked forward when you fire the rifle.

Freakishly odd, but that would sure wake you up and flat screw your qualification score. :yike:

Very comfortable and wide range of adjustments including left/right usage.  Lock up is pretty solid, and it comes with a recoil pad.

And then spent the whole day getting hacked on by everyone, sounds like a good time.Hahah, I would be leaving charging handles in his boots, bunk, vehicle. I would have rode that for all it was worth.

Well after a day of playing with stocks, I went wit the UBR by magpul. I love that it has a solid cheek weld that does move and is always the same. I got a killer deal as well thanks to a friend at wholesale sports. It sell's there for 300.00 and I told him I found a killer deal online and was going to buy it from the people online. He said bs, talked to the head guy and he said no at first. They could not do it! Then he got to thinking about how much money I spend there and decided to look at my phone with the price pulled up :IBCOOL: Got it for 229.00 Then used my discount to knock it down to 217.55 and then I had a 50.00 gift card. So I walked out with it and olny spent 167.55 out of my pocket for it :IBCOOL: This stock is sweet!!! I am going to pull off the door latches for the little trap door in the stock. I won't ever need them or use them.

:chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:  Now that's funny :chuckle: I have been playing with it for the last 30 mins! I am more impressed with it now! It has 2 presets you can adjust as well. Another cool thing is that the who check weld can be moved forward or backward as well to match you presets  This is going to be a sweet stock!

So much for my 1k build cost :yike: :yike: :yike:

I am looking at piecing together my first left-handed rifle and it's looking like a spendy proposition. I like the cheek positioning on the stock you picked out a lot. How long till you shoot it?

Awhile  :'( :chuckle:

It's the first part of the build, my lower is on backorder. Might pick up another one at the gun show this next weekend at portland. Then I am trying to find my upper. Found it on about 30 sites but all say out of stock but 3! Those ones don't say one way or another. So I hope monday to get one found and ordered. If not I have a more expensive one picked out :chuckle: :yike: Not like the one I am getting is cheap anyways.

I thought I was good at working deals and putting the heat on the local firearms retailers, but you just set a record. The UBR is a top end stock and I love how you can set a position to memory, for quick deployment from the complete  collapsed position. Good job, smoking deal! Let me know if it doesn't work out for you, I have a happy home for it. ;)

:chuckle: It helps to have friend in low places :chuckle:

I am very happy with it so far. I don't think I will have any problems with it.

I am thinking I will be getting the spikes tactical buffer for it st-t2. Anyone play with one of these yet? Read some good thing about them.

Still working on my upper! found a couple smoking deal from about 30hrs of searching on the net. I have it down to 3 picks but my number 1 is being a sob to find.
