Night snagging on the cowlitz
« on: December 31, 2011, 01:31:51 PM »
Been hearing about it but guess it;s really going on there is a big rant going on gameandfish about what is happing. Don;t want to use names of other nationalites but the same thing goes on at bonnieville and there is alot of them there that don;t follow the law. Hope they get it straighted out beause they shut down a lot of rivers at night for that very same reason and thats snagging.

these dudes, ruin every single spot they target. it should be easy to get action on them as they are all white. i reported this activity to wdfw enforcement just today, (online) and i encourage all to do the same.  just dont mention thier language as they may get the old wdfw ethnicity pass.

There is nothing that can be done.  I have talked to a few of fish cops and the long leader is legal as long as they only keep the fish that are hooked at the gill plate forward.

Heck one even said that is the best way catch fish in one spot on the cowlitz.
