I have 5 wildviews. 4 flash and 1 Ir. The flash ones are very hungry for.batteries all the time.. probly could have bought 2 new cams this.year just in battery cost. The ir one is better. Think I will probably only use.these cams early season and get another aa cam for late.

my dad has the IR version and uses the rechargeable C batts..the camera was in the Mts in teens to 30 deg weather for 3 weeks and took 2,000 pics and batterys were still going strong
