This is probably the best bet as far as distance and price.  http://www.splitdiamondoutfitters.com/

There is a lot of pig hunting in Northern California. However, last year I was able to hunt pigs down in Eastern, Oregon and it was awesome. There are quite a bit of pigs there. Good thing we have the Columbia and the Snake separating us or we would have the same problem.

Must be southeastern Oregon, because I've been to northeastern Oregon, and have seen no porkers there.  Lots of porkers here in Wenatchee, but none that you can legally shoot.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

I will tell you this. I was only south of the Dulles an hour. There are pigs in North Eastern Oregon. At least from my experience.

South of The Dalles would be Central Oregon, just east of the Cascade Range.  I go to Enterprise Oregon, way up in the northeast corner of Oregon.  A loooong ways from where you go.  Not saying the hogs won't get there eventually, but haven't seen them there yet.

There has been a few pigs dumped out back there and a few of them have got shot. Not really any kind of population. I know a lot of the ranchers back in that country and there is not a bunch :chuckle:

I'd love to shoot hogs.  Even outfitted a .450 Bushmaster for it.  Sorta like I'm partway there....

Head to Texas if you want to hunt some pigs. They were all over the place. But everything down there is pay to play, no matter how bad a problem the farmer/rancher is having. When I was there we hunted over corn at night (11pm-4am) and drive around in the morning and dusk. I think it depends where you go to find the really big ones. But as far abundance, you have to dodge them and deer all the time driving at night.

I am probably going to hunt Norther Cali and Oregon again this year for pigs. I would really like to get out to Hawaii and hunt there, with a knife and dogs.

That .450 Bushmaster is a killer. That is the same gun my dad uses. Instantly drop, dead right there (DRT).

You guys must not be very good hunters...  The media (not just this one) seem to see feral pigs all over Washington.

"Like invasive ivy, the wild pig population in Washington is out of control. So much so that the state is part of a campaign to thwart the growth of feral pig populations in the area."

Just hype to support their government jobs.

Here is a video of a feral hog shot in Washington State.  Except it looks farm raised to me.

Other then the local Bremerton bars no dice. But in all seriousness there has been threads on this in the past, there are a few high fence places to hunt but no substantial population of feral hogs to hunt. A lot of rumors over the years from Matlock/Cougar Smith road, down towards Aberdeen and other places. I would think your best bet for the closest feral hog hunting would be Northern CA but not a cheap hunt.
dont forget about the whidbey whales...
