yes very true trophy ive caught 2 people poaching up there and called them in now never heard anything else about them though. the other thing that would make it better hunting would be the people up there target shooting i was acually up there this morning seen mabe 15 cars up there with people blowing off rounds and there tv's and stuff they like to shoot leaving it and never cleaning up any of there mess.
If there are wolves up there the animals are f'd, between the poachers and the wolves....forget about it!!! Its too bad because there could be some great hunting up there if the inbred (not all, I have a friend that lives up there) pieces of crap would quit poaching. I would bet wilkeson is one of the most poached areas around. As far as wolves being there, wouldn't surprise me but someday absolutely. They are already and have been in the morton area for years, can't imagine it will take them long to cover the ground over to this side.

Really, as if I have not heard this remark ten thousand times, havent had someone say it to my face and still keep all their teeth yet. The wardens and also a family friend works overtime with the wardens and spends a lot of time up there during seasons. Most of the people that I have encountered that do wrong up here are the morons from Seattle, Tacoma, and all the areas with no access to recreation. They come up this way thinking they can get away from everything, little do they know Pierce County and WDFW patrol this area quite often. I have seen one poached animal in this area. Lot less then what I have seen in White River, Greenwater, Loomis, Stampede, Mossyrock and a few other areas.
Ya I'm aware of who your referring to and I know the inbreeding is out of hand.... Joke! But in all seriousness the poaching can be a problem but I find other peoples rights and treaties piss me off more. I just don't understand how poaching is even fun because I don't understand how one can get satisfaction from killing something illegally or ethically wrong. It is a problem everywhere and always will be those bad apples. I am just trying to redeem my points.

How'd this post go from "wolfs around wilkeson" to Bad mouthing people from a little town up in the hills??? I thought "We" as sportsmen would have known better then that....... The Argos are a good family, Great people to be around and love the thrill of hunting. This post went from being something interesting to a wasted post......

I did say the older generation was mostly responsible and that I didn't know too much about the newer generation. It does sound like I hit a sore spot, you know the damage the argo's did in the past. I never claimed to be cool to know bruce, a lot of people know bruce, but I've never been on his radar for poaching. As far as you killing more and bigger animals than most people, I could give two s hits about that. And if you do kill big animals every year, legally, then good for you. I hunt my butt off every chance I get and I have had a pretty good hunting life, my friends also hunt the same or harder as me and we don't take big animals every year but I believe we are as good as most hunters. It does make me wonder whats up when people kill big animals year after year, it's not that easy. And by the way, I never brought up the name, you did.
