Went up that road on Saturday.... Lots of shooting going on in whatever land management property that is... There is still quite a few locked gates off the main road.

About the wolves........There are a couple of very large coyotes but no wolves to be found that i can tell. ive spent alot of time in the woods up around there by myself for a couple of years and not one to be found. And to the poaching part.... Nothing can get my blood boiling like that does but watch who you call imbred because alot of us that live up there take offense when an outsider wants to use the term. Yes there is alot of poaching up there but mainly from idiots with no morales from the cities. i have seen this myself. just the other day me and my friends went up shooting and found a caped out cow dumped in the ditch. and for your knowledge we pick up all of our shells and then some. and bentley 30-06 this is your littlest bro.

The argo's have been busted before and have been on the radar of the law in the past for many years. I have heard that the majority of their poaching was done by the older generation, I really don't have any recent news about today's bunch.  Bruce (a warden) knows of them pretty well, and another bunch up in that area.

OK......I will be the one to ask.  WTF are you? By the tone of your post, it seems that this thread has hit a sore spot in your concious. Bragging about bigger animals don't mean chit.

The Argos are a good family, Great people to be around and love the thrill of hunting. This post went from being something interesting to a wasted post......

Did you read my last post? I did say the older generation was mostly responsible and that I didn't know too much about the newer generation. It does sound like I hit a sore spot, you know the damage the argo's did in the past.  I never claimed to be cool to know bruce, a lot of people know bruce, but I've never been on his radar for poaching. As far as you killing more and bigger animals than most people, I could give two s hits about that. And if you do kill big animals every year, legally, then good for you. I hunt my butt off every chance I get and I have had a pretty good hunting life, my friends also hunt the same or harder as me and we don't take big animals every year but I believe we are as good as most hunters. It does make me wonder whats up when people kill big animals year after year, it's not that easy.  And by the way, I never brought up the name, you did.

I agree with you. Again, I don't know the new generation, I'm sure they are good people.  I have no reason to think otherwise. And for the record, I never brought up the name, carbonadohunter did.

That family gets interest only because of how many animals they shoot, and its not right. I personally know every one of them and they hunt harder than 99% of all people on this site and I promise you that. Its too bad, getting flack for being successful hunters, from people that dont shoot animals and dont know how to hunt. Dont worry about it brian.

CarbonadoHunter,

I was hiking up at Corral Pass 3 or 4 years ago and met one of your relations up there. He was probably a lot older than you and was helping a fellow hunt bear up there that came up from Californina. We met and talked for quite a little while. He sure seemed like a heck of a nice guy to me and I really enjoyed the conversation. For whatever it is worth, it sure seemed as if they were doing everything properly and I wouldn't mind chatting with him again.
