Badger Mnt. Cougar killed

I got this picture sent to me by a friend on Facebook. I dont know the woman holding the cat, just her name. The story says that they got two that day. According to the local biologists, thats 104 deer that arnt gonna die this year.(I was told an adult cat eats a deer per week.)
I hope to see alot more dead cats come out of eastern Washington area. Douglas county especially.
I wish I had more of a story, but thats all the info I have. 2 dead cougars from Badger mnt. in Douglas county.

Probably more than just 104 deer saved. A cat will eat the equivalent of 1 deer a week. Many bio's, those that care about deer and elk populations, will tell you that one cat will kill between 5-7 deer a week.

I got the pics also, the second one was just short of spotted. A female and kitten, deer butcher just the same. The pic I got had them both strapped on the front of a ATV.

I had it texted to me. A family member of the hunter pictured sent it to me. I have been told the area where they got those cats is absolutely loaded with mountain lions. They need to kill about 8 more in that one area from what I hear.

There are allot of big cats in Badger Mountain/ Palasades area. I cut their tracks all the time. Especially in the winter months. These are some game camera photos from that area, that a local gentlemen set up on a deer kill. These are not photo shopped, these were taken near Wenatchee almost exactly a year ago.
I'm sure by now some of theses young ones pictured are fairly good at what they do best, butchering deer. When you have this many cats on one kill, there's a real problem. Theses pics were taken right in the middle of rancher central.

Thats awezome. Graduated high school from Waterville and until last fall livex in East Wenatchee. There were cougars up there back then, too, but never many killed. Would love to save some deer from my old stomping grounds. Season in Douglas County goes til the end of March, too.
