hey are egg traps legal in washington? i been wanting to get my trappers license soon and was just wondering

Non body gripping. Cage traps, colony traps, suitcase type beaver traps and rat traps, the only body gripper allowed.

Am i mistaken? I thought the way an egg trap worked was because a racoon could not let go (mentally) of the trap keeping the fist stuck inside... If that is the case how is that a gripping devise?

New to me but sounds good.l Heard of monkeys doing that sort of thing. I know coons love lifesavers.  I saw 5 mole traps at the King County transfer station in Enumclaw. Is that calling the kettle black or what.  Bunny huggers ban grip traps and then *censored* when they can't have someone trap their moles for fifty bucks a piece. Maybe it's alright for the state and county to brake the laws they put into place.

No, They have a spring loaded bar in them that acts as jaws.
