Fun day out with the kid!
« on: January 08, 2012, 06:07:53 PM »
Had a great day out with my 11 year old son and a buddy from work.  This is mine and my son's first year duck hunting and we are loving it.  He shot one of the bufflehead hens and one of the drake pintails.  Me and my buddy got the rest.  Should have had some more but our shooting was less than par at times :dunno:  What a blast!!!

I had some of the same kind of fun today! What's he shooting and how does he like it? Mines shooting a single shot 20.

Congratulations on the birds and even more for being out there with your son, that will pay big dividends in the future.

Very Cool.   :IBCOOL:

I wanna get my son out there with me too. He's 10. Hope to get some time in with him soon.

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5

What a great day.  I love to take my 11 yr old out.  Fun for both of us.  If we get some shooting in, it's even better. :)
