I've dumped two with steel 4's, one at 10 yards and one at about 20. Both dropped on the spot. If I wasn't duck hunting and was looking for coyotes, T shot would probably be my choice. Be careful if wearing the same clothes for duck and coyotes to remove all your lead before duck hunting.
Personal favorite is #4 buck pretty close to the size of T shot. Get a pretty dense pattern of big shot.
I will be hunting this saturday night, I will tell you how it works
HOW?? PICS!!!!

PICS!!!!I didn't take pics...when my dog was just a pup I sent her into a brushy hellhole and suddenly I hear this argument between two dogs! Out squirts a coyote and cali is hot on its heels. The coyote was about 15 yards ahead and I dumped a load of 7 1/2's into it.....rolled it. Cali and the coyote had a 10 second scrap and there she was trying to bring me a dead coyote bigger than she was. I don't think she killed it, it was the gun....most excitement in a long time.
I went to walmart, and got some more shot, the only shot they had besides Lead target shot was 00 buck shot. That should fold them no probs I plan on stocking up on turkey load once it hits the shelves.
Cool, what lights are you using? I have a smart light headlamp that burns on high for nearly14 hours and a 250 kill light on my rifle/shotgun. I think I am going to get the 100 kill light for my shotgun and just keep the 250 mounted on the rifle.
I just bought 3" #4 buck for my 835. Will it shoot good patterns through a tight turkey choke? Are coyote chokes open or tight?
