I've smoked them with 3" #4 turkey loads with my turkey choke in and absolutely folded them, two of which were at about 50 yards.  The way I see it, they should have left my hen decoys alone, served em right!

I've dumped two with steel 4's, one at 10 yards and one at about 20.  Both dropped on the spot.  If I wasn't duck hunting and was looking for coyotes, T shot would probably be my choice.

Be careful if wearing the same clothes for duck and coyotes to remove all your lead before duck hunting.

I used steel shot last year on a yote pretty much point blank, it worked great   Yeah I plan on changing clothes, I only wear cotton when hunting yotes, it provides the best sound control.

Is 000buck a good choice or more smaller shot better. whats a good all around size out to 50yrds or so. got a
12g with carlsons dead coyote choke. 000 buck is more for  if i run into a cougar, but i think it just might ruin a bobcat if close up.
Take a back road!
