Most Of My 2011 Finds
« on: December 29, 2011, 07:59:08 PM »
Found these walking the hillsides of the St. Helens tree farm.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.

Looks like there are several singles of the same bull.  I'm taking it this wasn't in one year?  Great finds

Yep all this year, I actually found 4 sets for sure and I think maybe a 5th set.  I think there is only 28 or 29 in the photo, ended up with 33 total.  That's why Ive always said the genetics just arnt there in the Margaret, Toutle, and Loowit, usually all you find is the average 5 pt.  Only found two 6's, a couple 3's and 4's but majority is just 5 point's.  Another buddy found 60 something sheds and couple more buddies found about 15 or so each and the same thing.  Nothing yet that has that wow factor.  Biggest maybe a 240 bull, but like them all big or small, new or old.
When you see the third, thin the herd.
Right now I'm somewhere picking up sheds.
