I've heard good things about them, for backpacking, hunting, etc., I'd be looking at the Vioz Top GT RR or the Lhasa GT RR (just my  :twocents:).

Check'em out here under backpacking - http://www.zamberlan.com/catalog/index.php

I owned the Zamberlan Chivetta (sp?) for 5 years. They are one of the best boots I have owned. Once broken in they fit like gloves and last forever. Put many miles on mine. I highly recomend Zamberlan boots.

I had a pair of Zamberlans. Loved em. But got them too close to the wood stove one night.Shrunk them up 1 size.Gave them to a buddy. He later gave me a Leopold 3-9x40 vari xII for them.

They are a great boot.I should have used the boot dryer.Didnt think they were that close.Almost cried.
