If you have Microsoft Office on your computer you should have Microsoft Picture Manager. You can use that program to resize. Try going with a size of 800x600. Go to the "Picture" drop down menu, select "resize", and then use the 800x600 size under "predefined width and height".

:yeah:

Also you may want to save your "resized" pics in a separate file. So you still have originals. I am sure there are other ways to do it but that has worked best for me.

Yeah thats how I do it - I right click the photo and click "open with", MS Office Pic Mgr, then I go under the tab "edit pictures" then use the "compress photos" and there is about 4 pre-selections, like documents, email, webpage, etc. When you choose one of them it will show the before & after size. I usually use the document one for here or say CL and they work fine and are still large enough. (you can also open the pic mgr then go to your photo file) And like BlackVelt said, its a good idea to take your re-sized pic and  "save as" a different file name.
I aint superstitious - cuz its bad luck!

You can also use this site. Real easy to use. If you just select 800x600 it's more than likely going to distort your pic. I use this tool and just select 75% and resize. Easy and  works great.

http://www.picresize.com/

I could be wrong but I don't believe resizing to 800x600 will distort pictures. It's the same ratio, if you compare your width and height of your original picture it should be the same. At least my pictures are. For example I just looked at one of my Moultrie photos and it's 2336x1752. If you divide 2336 by 1752 it is 1.33. Now divide 800 by 600 and you'll get 1.33.

The Microsoft Picture Manager can also resize by a percentage. Either way will work. It's so easy to do I'm not sure why people have problems with it. If I can figure it out anybody can.
