Here's one of my baby. Bought it brand new right after it rolled of the semi in March of '76. Had to wait for the dealer to do whatever it is they do then went and picked it up. Paid just a little over 7 grand with $1800 down. Haven't drove it for a few years, just been sittin. Waiting for one of my kids to come and get. Needs a little bit of tlc. It's hauled a lot of deer and tons of firewood in it's time.

Wish I had the $$ to fix "Ol Red" up again. Body work, springs re-arc'd and who knows what else. Hate seeing it just sitting there. Made lottsa huntin trips up to Elk Heights over the years with my boys. That thing was a hill climbing monster when it was in 4 low. That was a good year. '75's were a good year too.

JJB11B,   Almost the same as your old truck.

My son's new/used truck. What are the odds to be the same model with same wheels?

My dad had a silver 77 highboy that my uncle bought new . I learned to drive in that old truck, 4 sp, granny low. Dad got rid of it a few years back, wish I would have taken it . Now its gone  :bash:

I have 38.5s on that blazer. Currently is getting a cross over steering upgrade and a new cluth and down the road I go !!

My dream rig is a 72 blazer or truck. Love the body style. What kind of lift are you running on that? My 2000 Chevy is on 38s, the Blazer is on 37s but can clear 39.5s and the bronco is on 35s and i havnt decided if i want to run 37s, 39s, or 40s on it.

Old and new. My old Ford was driven every day for 12 years, and it served me well! I sure like my new Ford, its a few years old now, and still treating me great!

Its got superlift 8 inch springs and another inch with longer shackles in front. So 9 total. Tires still his when turned and articulating. I want to get some 39.5 TSL's for the blazer and put the 38.5 back on my 91 yota. How much lift is on your blazer??

Here are a couple of my current truck.  As my grandpa says, "any man without a truck, well he ain't much of a man".  He's going on 93 and still has and uses his truck from elk hunting to weekly fishing trips.  Talk about setting the par high!

pic 3 - my buddies 2 bucks that I had to haul out for him last year
