Glock 20 10mm Auto

So I'm thinkin my next pistol purchase is going to be a 10mm.  I'm leaning towards the Glock 20 because it seems to be the most affordable one.  They have two G20's listed on their website, the 20 and the 20sf.  I guess the "sf" stands for short frame and has a smaller grip than the 20. Do any of you guys have either of these two models? If so, do you like them/hate them? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Is the difference between these two grips that noticable?  I guess the grip on the 20 feels pretty blocky to a lot of people.  I havnt had the chance to hold either of these models yet.

I have the glock 30 double stack. The grip feels so natural and it fits in my pockets. I love it! Glock just knows how things should fit. I'll be you like either choice you make.

Ing- I've never held the regular model, the sf felt so good I didn't even thinking about the regular model.

I had to look it up but you are right about sf standing for short frame, i would reccomend it cause mine is the regular g20 and i could go for the grip being a hair smaller

They are not that pricey to shoot, outdoor imporum in seattle sells a box of fifty for $17 a box

If you reload them its only around $8 a box

Btw if you do get one or any other glock take it to sams gun club and they will do a trigger job for $20 that will take the trigger pull down to about three and a half lbs

I have a gen2 20 and  a friend had a SF gen3 20. I honestly couldnt really feel much of a difference. Im not a really big guy and the standard frame works fine for me. I love that thing, in fact I love it so much I bought its little brother, a G29. Got a standard frame there too and it feels just fine. Dont get me wrong its a handfull but shooting it isnt a problem.

 I had a Glock 20. I put a KKM six inch barrel in it to shoot heaver hand loads. Dropped in a 3.5lb connector and competition trigger bar to make the trigger better. It was a very accurate pistol. I miss it.

I've had several of the standard frame 20's. I now have a SF 20. It is a bit smaller and more controllable for me.
I've shot 2-3000 rounds out of them, makes a very nice hiking/ hunting companion side arm.

I've had both the 20 and the 29, and the SF version is worth getting. The grip reduction doesn't look like much but it does make a big difference. The SF wasn't around when I had my Glocks, so I ended up selling both of them because they just didn't fit that well, which made it difficult for me to shoot them accurately. If you're a reloader, the Glock is pretty hard on your brass as well unless you put in an aftermarket barrel.

There are other 10mm autos out there which I feel are better guns. The Dan Wesson CCBT was my favorite, but the Kimber Eclipse, EAA Witness, and Colt Delta Elite are all nice as well. There are options out there other than Glock, so be sure to look around.
