Thanks, the one I'm holding up is about a pound heavier than the one in the pic w/ the dog, but stretched 1/2" shorter......go figure. all three I've caught have been 15.5" and up.

Had a beaver trapper working by our house he said he trapped 1200 muskrats in tulelake california last year.

   Hope the water holds for you,,,,this dry time is perfect, and I am missing it.......Stuck on a island building a house for a friend.

 Welllllllllll i guess if i get off and the rains have started you just move up the ditch,,,,Them rats have to swim or sink,,,lol,,,,

Same to you my friend, I love the humorous chatter between you and LT and the others on trapperman, keeps it light and fun, that is a great site...not that this one is'nt, fact is I'm greatfull to have a local one.

When trapping rats remember that the Rising water will push the rats up stream into the shallow ditches that my not normally contain rats......
